Dr Geoffrey Ryan is an ophthalmologist at the Queensland Eye Institute, Brisbane, with subspecialty expertise in laser vision correction and cataract surgery. He undertook further subspecialty fellowship training in cornea at the Birmingham Midlands Eye Centre and in glaucoma at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London — two of the world's leading centres for ophthalmic subspecialty care.
Dr Ryan consults at Queensland Eye Institute, 87 Ipswich Road, Woolloongabba, and performs surgery at South Brisbane Day Theatre. He offers the full range of modern laser vision correction, including LASIK, PRK, and CLEAR/KLEx, as well as implantable collamer lens (ICL) surgery and refractive lens exchange (RLE) for patients outside the range of laser treatment.
